At the young age of 23, Anthony has developed a particular style of art in which he captures beautiful detail with a simplistic approach. He was born & raised in New Zealand, although born in this country, Anthony is a US Citizen. How is this possible? His parents were doing Missionary work while he was born & continued for some time afterward. Only recently has Anthony actually lived in the US, in the state of Oregon.
His artwork clearly favors that of the Battletech & Mechwarrior venue. Anthony told us his first experience was actually Mechwarrior 2, via the CD demo. He remembers this vaguely but really got into the Mechcommander game developed by FASA Interactive. Soon afterward he spent his time playing Mechwarrior 4, where he went backwards in the series and caught up with Mechwarrior 3, Mechcommander 2 & the classic Mechwarrior 2 series.
Not only did he play the electronic versions of the venue Anthony dove into the Dark Age tabletop, but was never able to find a group playing the original Battletech. After some time he drifted away from the electronic versions due to no new games being released after Mechwarrior 4 & for the table top he did not enjoy the competitive nature.
At this point Anthony felt he wanted to further his education, so he dove into a collegiate Art School. His focus was animation, but he quickly discovered he enjoyed drawing more than making his 2d art come alive! At the heart & sole of things Anthony revealed to us that the reason he is an artist today is due to Mechwarrior & Battletech!
His style is unique in itself, though he is not just confined to Battletech & Mechwarrior. His other interests are anime, Halo & you can see this in his artwork. Recently Catalyst Games took interest & he does contract work when they come calling.
As an artist Anthony is always looking for new employers & he is looking to keep his calender booked! You can view his commission information at his deviantArt account. At this time we would like to thank Anthony for sharing this information about himself. We urge him to continue to create his amazing pieces of art and we urge you the community to keep him busy with commission work!
