   I think the idea of a community directory for units across the MW/BT platforms would be awesome.

   Could set it up like the a wiki and the units fill in the blanks, kinda like what we did on the MWLL wiki

     There are a couple of wikis that do already offer that. There is the MechWarrior Online Wiki that I run allows you to add unit pages using this form (example of a unit page on the MWOwiki). And there is the MechWarrior Wiki that is an overview of all MechWarrior games that allows you to add unit page using this form (example of a unit page on the MW wiki).
